  • Art file must be the full image of the original work that looks great as portrait/vertical orientation, a hi-res digital file (JPEG, PNG, TIFF) that is at least 10MB or at least 150 dpi.
  • Arts Alpharetta will format into a template sized 24” x 48”.
  • Artist may include a draft of what "slice" of the artwork is recommended.

  • Photographic works will be considered if the composition is unique and artful.
  • Works generated using AI are discouraged, as this competition seeks to celebrate art made by humans.
  • Arts Alpharetta will send draft of the final banner to artist for approval. If approved, send no response. Artists with edits must respond within 24 hours of the date approval email is sent.
  • If you need help with your submission, no problem. Send questions to [email protected].

2. If your submission is selected:
Arts Alpharetta will print it and install it in proposed location on lamp posts along Kimball Bridge Road between North Point Parkway and Waters Road.
  • Before we go to production, you'll get a digital proof to review for placement and accuracy. Artists with no edits DO NOT NEED TO REPLY. Artists with edits must reply within 24 hours of the date and time the draft is sent to the artists.
  • Arts Alpharetta will include your work in ongoing PR and marketing coverage of Alpharetta’s Gallery East including digital, broadcast and print channels.
  • We’ll notify you where it is installed so you can tell your friends.
3. When this collection closes, artists will receive their banners as keepsakes.
  • There are endless ways you can make use of it, from proudly displaying it on a wall in your house to up-cycling it into a reusable grocery bag.

The Fine Print:
By submitting artwork, artists agree that Arts Alpharetta has permission to publish your submission for any commercial, publicity or promotional purpose without limitation, review, approval or compensation to you.

Your submission must be suitable for a general audience; must not contain any inappropriate content (all as determined by Arts Alpharetta); and cannot contain any trademarks, copyrighted works or other intellectual property you do not own. Arts Alpharetta reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet these requirements.
The Gallery East project was made possible through collaboration and shared vision, and we’re especially grateful to Midtown Alliance, whose experience bringing artwork to outdoor spaces across the Atlanta area was invaluable in helping us get this initiative up and running. Public art thrives on cooperation. When organizations come together, creativity moves beyond gallery walls and into the everyday spaces where community happens. This is our wonderful slice of that shared vision.
