DOWN HOME
ON THE FARM

EXHIBITION DATES: FEBRUARY 1 - MARCH 18

Living in an urban setting, our lives are a constant hustle and bustle of activity. The landscape of our towns has certainly evolved from a rural setting to modern suburbia. Artists are invited to share their vision, memory and/or history of those things that represent 'Down Home on the Farm.' Folk art to fine art welcomed in all media.

COLOR AND LIGHT

December 7, 2022 - January 28, 2023

The Alpharetta Arts Center, in partnership with Arts Alpharetta, hosts Color and Light, a gallery exhibition featuring 3 artists in the Atlanta area: Eric Albright, Peter Ho, and Denise Jennings.

Each of these artists is masterful at capturing color and light through moving and inspirational techniques in their individual media. While each has a unique style, viewers will find commonalities in their grand and refined interpretations of color and light in our world.

JUNETEENTH:
WHAT FREEDOM MEANS TO ME

June 7 - July 29, 2022
Reception: June 11,  5 - 7 pm

Celebrations…we love them. Birthdays, anniversaries, holidays...count us in!  But there is a new national holiday that resides within a category all its own. That holiday - Juneteenth - honors June 19, 1865’s “General Order No. 3” which informed the slaves in Texas (the last to be notified) that they were free.
