Alpha Loop Bridge MuralsDESIGN SUBMISSION DEADLINE: APRIL 24
Alpha Loop Bridge Murals is a City initiative to bring visual vibrancy to some of the City parks and trails. There are creative murals at the following locations: Alpharetta Greenway, Windward Community Park, Arts Center, Wills Park Pool, and Alpharetta Community Center. This project consists of 3 bridges. We will select an artist for each location. An artist can be selected for more than one bridge. Artist must be 18 years or older. The artist will be completely responsible for the painting and sealing the crosswalk. Interested artists should submit visuals that includes up to three (3) variations of a design, sketched or painted, submitted digitally only. Entries should also include digital images of samples of existing artworks. |
Juneteenth: Independence and ReflectionDEADLINE: May 24, 2025
Artist must be at least 18 years of age. Artist may submit up to 3 artworks. Only 1 artwork should be entered in one entry; sculptural pieces can include 2-3 views of the piece in one entry. However each artwork requires its own entry. Each entry must include a $12 entry fee. This is a juried exhibit; entries will be evaluated based on alignment with the criteria identified in the call description. Artists will be notified of acceptance by May 27, 2025. Accepted artwork may be shipped or delivered to the Arts Center between June 2-7 , 2025. All accepted artworks must be delivered by June 7, 2025. |
