293 NEW kits delivered November, 2024!
Take Out Art is a special Arts Alpharetta initiative which supplies free art kits for children in our community.
In the first year, Arts Alpharetta gave away 300 free art kits to children in our area when the pandemic shut down our community. The fall of 2024, a record 293 kits were issued t to 7 elementary schools, one middle school, and 2 high schools!!! Thanks to all for the support, contributions, and partnerships with the City of Alpharetta and the Rotary of North Fulton!! We have since collaborated with public school counselors to offer these beautiful kits specifically to underserved children in the area whose parents might not be able to respond to social media outreach. These elementary counselors have been instrumental in helping us achieve our goal and said that the number one requested items from children in need or in transitional housing is art supplies. |
Please consider a gift today to Arts Alpharetta in support of this program. We have added THREE MORE SCHOOLS and the demand is growing! Click link above to make an online contribution, you may indicate in the comments "Take Out Art".
In 2024, the Rotary Club of North Fulton awarded a $5,000 grant for the Take Out Art program. The Rotary of North Fulton continues to support Take Out Art with another $2,000 for 2025 distribution.

“The students are going to be so excited to receive these! The ones who received these in December felt like they’d won a prize. These help our students so much.”— Chris Emerson, counselor at Creek View Elementary
“We get offers for things for kids all the time but they come with ‘strings attached’ or tasks for us to complete, so we turn those down. We love Take Out Art because you just GIVE us these resources, and all we have to do is give them to our students. And we’ve got them in plenty of time to distribute thoughtfully and we love this project! It’s so good for our kids!” - quote from a school counselor
