Exhibition Awards Juror:
​Celeste McCullough

Following a full career in practicing law, Celeste pursued her art education through the time-honored master/apprentice model by working as Marc Chatov’s apprentice for ten years. Celeste has also studied figure drawing extensively with Atlanta artist, Ben Smith, and she has taken workshops with Chris Groves, Quang Ho, Casey Baugh, Albert Handell, Cindy Barron, Bill Davidson, and James Richards.
 
Celeste’s work has been exhibited in national juried shows, including with the American Impressionist Society, National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, Oil Painters of America, Pastel Society of America, and others.  In 2022, she has been invited to paint in the Olmsted Plein Air Invitational in Atlanta in April.  Her work has been collected by individuals and corporations in the U.S. and Europe.  Celeste is represented by allison sprock fine art in Charlotte, N.C.

Quick Draw Juror: Jill McGannon​

Jill McGannon completed her BFA and MFA from the UGA in 1985 and 1988, and has made a living as an artist since then.  Currently, she lives in the Atlanta area and paints primarily the GA/ SC coast, and in the GA mountains. She shows at Four Corners Gallery in Bluffton, SC, High Country Art in Blue Ridge, GA, and Mason Fine Art in Atlanta. Recent awards include “Best Water” in Plein air Magazine in January 2020 and 2019 Finalist in Art Muse Contest.  Acceptance into recent national shows include 2021 Oil Painters of America National Exhibition, 2019 OPA’s Eastern Regional Exhibition, 2019 Southern Appalachian Artists Guild, and Meritorious in Richelson 75 Still Life and Floral Competition. Local plein air Awards include Second Place at the Olmsted Paint Quick Community Award in 2019, and third place in 2020, Second place in the Quick Paint at Gilmer Arts in 2020, First Place in 2019, and Second Place overall at Paint Duluth 4 in 2019. In July 2021, she won “Best Sunset or Nocturne “ in the Plein Air Salon, and the Paint Quick at GA Colors in October, and was an invited artist to Olmsted 2022.
